Memoranda with a mandatory survey

Published 10 October 2026, Updated 10 October 2026

Some memoranda are linked to a survey (an online form). This is used, for example, for a safety culture survey, a feedback form after a change of procedure, or a short questionnaire to confirm that a new rule is understood.

What changes for you

  1. The memorandum looks like any other memorandum, with an Acknowledge button.
  2. When you click Acknowledge, the survey opens instead of acknowledging immediately.
  3. Answer the questions and go to the end of the survey.
  4. When you reach the end, the memorandum is acknowledged automatically, with the date and time.

The survey is mandatory: as long as you have not completed it, the memorandum stays in your Unread folder and your access to AirSupervision remains locked. If you close the survey before the end, simply open the memorandum again and click Acknowledge to restart it.

Your answers are anonymous

Survey results are anonymous. The organization sees that you have completed the survey (the memorandum is acknowledged), but the survey results are used to analyze the answers of the group, not to judge individual members. Answer honestly: this is what makes the survey useful.

When to use this: take the few minutes needed to answer carefully. A survey linked to a memorandum is usually short and is used to improve safety, training or procedures.
