Courses Analytics brings course progress, time, scores, attendance, activity, and trend information together for one or more enrolled members. Use it to follow an individual, compare a group, prepare a progress meeting, or identify training that may need attention.
Important: Analytics helps you investigate and compare information. It does not replace the underlying training record. If a result looks unusual, review the member’s course and lesson details before acting.
1. Access and saved workspace
Open Courses Center, then choose Courses analytics. Access depends on your statistics or responsible-person permission. Some tabs also require a higher permission or an enabled organization feature.
The page remembers much of your working view for your own account, including selected courses and members, filters, active tab, date ranges, visible columns, grid order, and some scroll positions. Returning to the page can therefore reopen your previous analysis.
Use Reset filters when you need a clean starting point.
2. Select courses
Select one or more courses from the left panel. The member list refreshes to show enrolments matching the selected courses.
The course More options (…) menu provides:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Display All | Includes all courses available to the page. |
| Display Only Available Courses | Limits the list to courses currently available for use. |
Use the course registration-date filter when you need enrolments from a specific period. Clear it when older or newer enrolments appear to be missing.
3. Find and select members
The Members heading displays the current count. Use the available filters to narrow by name, group, responsible person, or other displayed criteria.
- Click a member for a single selection.
- Hold Ctrl while clicking to select or remove several members.
- Use Select all to select the currently displayed members.
- Use a group heading to select, collapse, or expand that group when grouping is active.
The member More options (…) menu can include:
| Option | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Display/Hide Closed Course | Includes or excludes closed enrolments. |
| Group by Initial group / Actual group | Changes which group assignment organizes the list when supported. |
| Collapse All / Expand All | Closes or opens all member groups. |
| Order by Group | Sorts by group. |
| Order by Name | Sorts alphabetically by member. |
| Order by Responsible name | Sorts by the assigned responsible person. |
| Reset filters | Clears the current member and course filters. |
| Refresh | Reloads the displayed information. |
Discreet mode
Turn on Discreet mode before sharing your screen or projecting the page. It hides member names, photos, and the identifying list while allowing the analysis to remain visible.
Important: Discreet mode reduces visible identification on this page, but you must still follow your organization’s privacy rules when sharing training information.
4. Comparison tabs
The available tabs depend on configuration, permissions, selected courses, and selected members.
Progress
Progress compares completed lessons and overall course advancement. Cards or rows can show completion status, mandatory-pass indicators, priority, and dual or solo activity information.
Use the order selector to change the ranking, and choose the direction. When available, show data up to and including date lets you compare progress as it stood on a historical date.
You can temporarily hide a selected card from the comparison and reset hidden cards afterward.
When to use: weekly progress reviews, cohort comparisons, or identifying members whose completion pace differs from the group.
Times
Times compares reported duration against the objectives configured in the course. Progress bars help show completed time and remaining or excess time for the displayed categories.
When to use: checking whether course completion and logged experience are progressing together.
Timeline
Timeline places course milestones and lesson completions along time. It helps reveal training gaps, concentrated activity, and the relationship between course start, progress, and end dates.
When to use: discussing continuity of training or explaining a long interruption.
Scores
When authorized, Scores compares score information recorded in member profiles, displayed as a percentage of 100.
Courses Scores
When authorized, Courses Scores compares the maximum recorded result for course lessons that require grading.
Important: Confirm which scale and assessment standard apply before comparing scores. A numerical difference is not automatically a meaningful performance difference.
No shows
When attendance tracking is enabled, No shows summarizes reported absences and delays for the selected members and context.
Flt Records
When Flight Record integration is enabled, Flt Records displays the associated operational flight-record analysis.
Latiness
The interface calls this tab Latiness. It is used to review recent-activity or recency information over a selected period.
- Choose the period.
- Select the courses to include.
- Select Filtrer.
- Use the table search and column tools to examine the result.
Duals
Duals shows the number of dual activities grouped by instructor for the selected context.
Dashboard
Dashboard presents charts and summary views. Depending on the selected data and configuration, it can include passed lessons, total passed lessons, dual-flight information, and group progress by week.
AI
When the organization’s AI feature and your permission are enabled, the AI tab can provide an overall view and student-focused observations based on the selected course information.
Important: AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Treat it as a prompt for review, never as the sole basis for a training, disciplinary, or safety decision. Verify every significant observation against the official record.
5. Print and export
After at least one member is selected, eligible comparison tabs display a print/export action. You can create:
- a PDF, with the offered page format and orientation choices; or
- an Excel (.xlsx) workbook for further authorized analysis.
The export reflects the applicable active tab and selection. Review the selected members and filters before generating it.
Important: Exported documents can contain confidential member information. Store, share, and dispose of them according to your organization’s rules.
6. Actions for selected members
Right-click a selected member or the selected-member area to open the available bulk-action menu. Depending on enabled services and your permissions, it can include:
- send email through the system;
- open an external email application;
- send an internal message;
- send an internal blind-copy message;
- send an SMS;
- open Scheduler;
- open Week calendar.
If you are authorized to manage priorities, a right-click action can also set or change a member’s course priority. Use the priority only according to your organization’s process; it can affect the way progress is ordered or reviewed.

| Member list is shorter than expected | Clear member, group, responsible-person, and course filters. |
| Print/export button is missing | Select at least one member and use an eligible tab. |
| A tab is missing | It may require a feature, data source, or higher permission. |
| A comparison is empty | Confirm the selected course/member combination contains the type of data used by that tab. |
| Old filters return next visit | Use Reset filters; the page intentionally restores your saved workspace. |
| Names are hidden | Turn off Discreet mode if privacy conditions allow. |
9. Review checklist
Before sharing or acting on an analysis, confirm:
- the intended course or courses are selected;
- open or closed enrolments are included as intended;
- registration-date and member filters are understood;
- the correct members are selected;
- the active tab answers the question being asked;
- any cutoff date or Latiness period is correct;
- unusual results were checked in the official record;
- Discreet mode or another privacy measure is used where needed;
- exports are handled as confidential information.
