Create, Publish, Print, and Delete a Template

Published 4 October 2026, Updated 4 October 2026

Create a template

  1. Enter a unique name in Template name….
  2. Click New template.
  3. Confirm that the new template is selected in Workspace.

A template name is required, must not duplicate another template, and can contain up to 200 characters. A new template starts unpublished, so it does not appear in Scores or Dashboard until you publish it.

Select, rename, publish, print, or delete

Control Purpose
Workspace Selects the template to view or edit. A read-only label appears when applicable.
Rename Saves the text currently entered in the template-name field as the selected template’s new name.
Published Makes the template available in Scores and Dashboard. Turning it off removes it from those selectors without deleting its definition.
Print Opens a printable template-definition report.
Delete Permanently deletes the template, its groups, lesson settings, and member links.

Deleting is irreversible. The warning is stronger when groups have been synchronized because those synchronization records will also be deleted. Review the template name and warning before clicking Yes.
