Dashboard

Published 4 October 2026, Updated 4 October 2026

The Dashboard tab turns course enrolment data into a management overview. Use it to identify enrolments that need attention, compare current workload, and review longer-term enrolment trends without opening every course individually.

The Dashboard loads when you open its tab. It combines filters, live overview cards, a prioritized Needs attention list, charts, and a responsible-workload table.

Dashboard filters

The controls at the top let you focus the Dashboard by period, course, group, or responsible person.

The initial period covers approximately the latest 12 months and ends today. The Period changes date-based figures and charts. Live cards and the Needs attention list describe enrolments that are currently open. Course, group, and responsible filters apply across the Dashboard.

Live overview cards

The cards provide a quick operational count. Point to a card to read its short explanation.

CardWhat it meansRecommended use
Open enrolmentsCurrent open student-course assignmentsUnderstand the total active workload
Active studentsDistinct students with at least one open enrolmentSeparate student volume from enrolment volume
Courses representedDistinct courses represented by open enrolmentsSee how broadly the current workload is distributed
New in periodEnrolments opened during the selected periodReview intake activity
Closed in periodEnrolments closed during the selected periodReview closure volume; closure does not automatically mean successful completion
Overdue planningOpen enrolments with one or more overdue lesson datesStart urgent planning follow-up
Due soonOpen enrolments with lesson dates approaching within the configured warning periodPrepare upcoming scheduling work
Priority 1 or 2Open enrolments carrying the two highest prioritiesFocus the most urgent manually flagged cases
No responsibleOpen enrolments without a valid assigned responsible personAssign ownership
Stalled 30+ daysIncomplete enrolments with no completed lesson activity for at least 30 daysInvestigate interrupted progression
No future planningIncomplete enrolments with neither overdue nor future planned lessonsAdd or confirm the next planned activity

AI at risk / behindLatest decision-support status is At risk or BehindAuthorized users should validate it against official training records before acting
Open tasksOpen tasks associated with the Courses CenterClick the card to switch directly to the Task tab

Red and orange cards normally deserve attention first. Yellow cards identify planning or progression warnings. Green cards generally identify active volume or work ready for review. AI information appears only when the feature is available and your role is authorized.

Needs attention

The Needs attention table brings the most important open enrolments into one prioritized list. It shows up to 50 enrolments and displays how many matching enrolments exist in total.

  • Student and group
  • Course
  • Attention badges
  • Responsible person
  • Lesson progress
  • Next planned lesson and last completed lesson dates
  • An Open button for the course enrolment

An enrolment can show several badges. The list prioritizes stronger warning combinations first, so the first row is not necessarily the oldest course.

BadgeWhat triggered itTypical next step
OverdueOne or more incomplete lessons have a planned date that is due or past dueReview and correct the plan
Behind / At riskThe latest authorized decision-support status needs attentionValidate the status against official training records and follow up
Priority 1 / Priority 2The enrolment was manually assigned a high priorityApply the organization’s priority workflow
No responsibleNo valid responsible person is assignedAssign a responsible person
No lesson activity 30+ daysNo lesson has been completed recently, or a new enrolment has remained inactive for at least 30 daysConfirm whether training is stalled and create a recovery plan

No future planningThe incomplete enrolment has no overdue or future lesson planAdd the next planned lesson

Charts

ChartWhat it showsHow to use it
Open enrolments by lesson progressOpen enrolments grouped into five completion bands from 0-24% through 100%See the overall progression distribution
Open enrolments by course and progressProgress bands broken down by courseFind courses with large early-stage or near-complete populations
Enrolments opened versus closedMonthly counts inside the selected periodCompare intake and closure trends
Closure reasonsReasons recorded for courses closed during the selected periodReview why enrolments are being closed
AI decision-support statusOn track, At risk, Behind, Completed, and Needs dataAvailable only to authorized users; use for investigation rather than automatic judgment

The course-progress chart shows the ten courses with the most open enrolments. Remaining courses are combined under Other courses. Use the print icon on a chart when a printable copy is required.

Responsible workload

The Responsible workload table compares current assignments. It can show up to 20 responsible people and places greater attention on overdue, high-priority, and authorized AI-risk cases.

ColumnMeaning
ResponsibleAssigned responsible person
Open enrolmentsNumber of active student-course assignments under that person
StudentsNumber of distinct students represented by those assignments
OverdueOpen enrolments with overdue planning
Priority 1/2Open enrolments carrying either of the two highest priorities
At risk / behindDecision-support count shown only to authorized users

One student can have several open courses. For this reason, Open enrolments can be higher than Students: each course assignment counts as one enrolment, while the student is counted once.
