To open an existing task:
- double-click its row, or
- select its row and click the pencil.
The window shows the task’s current subject, dates, status, priority, recurrence, description, and creator information.
The buttons have these meanings:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Modify | Saves the changes made in the window. |
| History | Opens the chronological record of task changes. |
| Close | Closes the window without changing the task’s Open/Closed state. |
Do not confuse the Close button in the window with closing the task. To close the task itself, right-click its Closed cell and choose Closed.
History can include creation, edits, priority or status changes, assignments, reopening or closing, and recurring-occurrence activity. Use it when you need to understand what changed and when.
