Where to find tasks

Task center from Organization staff

From Organization staff, open Task center when that option is available. Task center displays a list of work areas on the left and the tasks for the selected area on the right.

Only areas allowed by your role and your organization’s configuration are displayed. Depending on your responsibilities, these can include operational areas such as Daily Records and Scheduler, Quality Assurance, Event Reports, Memos, Maintenance, Accounting, Licensing, Course Design, Members, Activities, Course Lists, E-Courses, Group Scheduler Projects, Responsible Analytics, MEES, or other specialized centers.

You may therefore see fewer sections than a colleague. This is normal and does not mean that your tasks were deleted.

Task or Tasks tab inside another page

Many operational pages have a Task or Tasks tab, often identified by a document-and-gear icon. This tab displays only the tasks belonging to that page’s work area.

Use an operational Task tab when you are already working in that area. Use Task center when you need to move between several areas without opening each operational page separately.

Some specialized areas, such as the E-Exams Manager, can have their own Task tab even when that area is not listed in the main Task center. The task controls remain the same.

Assigned Tasks on the home page

When an open task is assigned to you, it can appear in the Assigned Tasks box on the home page. Each entry shows its priority, work area, and subject. A recurring item can also show the applicable occurrence date.

Clicking an entry opens the related operational page. Open its Task tab and use the subject, dates, or filters to locate the task when necessary.
