These tools are in the course right-click menu (see Course list and course groups<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duplicate a course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Choose Duplicate<\/strong>, tick the phases to copy (or Select all<\/strong>) and click Duplicate<\/strong>. All lessons of the selected phases are copied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The copy is named title (copie)<\/em>, is unpublished<\/strong>, and its notes start with a reminder of the original course. Lessons credited when a lesson is passed are copied and point to the copied lessons; a link to a lesson of a phase that was not copied is dropped. Review the copy before publishing: editors, permissions, documents, prerequisites to other courses, notifications and certificates may need changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip:<\/strong> to rework a live course, duplicate it, change the copy, test it, then publish the copy and set the old course as inactive.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Print a course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Print blank<\/strong> opens Print course options<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Tick the Phases<\/strong> to print (or Select all<\/strong>).<\/li>\n\n\n
  2. Optionally tick Print only times summary<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n
  3. Choose the detail level: Title only<\/strong>, Description only<\/strong> or Full<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n
  4. Click Acrobat PDF<\/strong> or Excel XLSX<\/strong>. Large courses can take one to two minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Manage course sequence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Manage course sequence<\/strong> shows the whole course with its prerequisites, and lets you edit them visually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The same tool is also available as the Sequence<\/strong> sub-tab of Design Course<\/strong>, between Files<\/strong> and Information<\/strong> (see Design Course: course settings<\/a>). In the sub-tab it uses the full width of the panel and always shows the selected course; the right-click window can be moved or minimized. Both work the same way and show the same data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Right panel<\/td>Every phase and lesson of the course. Under each lesson, its pre-requisite lessons (with their phase and course). A stamp marks lessons that must be passed to continue.<\/td><\/tr>
    Left panel<\/td>Choose a course, then drag a lesson onto a lesson of the right panel to add it as a prerequisite. The arrow and number beside a lesson tell how many lessons depend on it.<\/td><\/tr>
    Cross<\/td>Removes a prerequisite.<\/td><\/tr>
    Double-click<\/td>Opens the lesson.<\/td><\/tr>
    Print course sequence<\/strong><\/td>Prints the structure without durations.<\/td><\/tr>

    Adding or removing a pre-requisite is saved immediately. It is accepted only when you are allowed to modify the course and the option The course is modifiable<\/strong> is enabled in Design Course \u203a Publication and access<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Check Integrity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Check Integrity<\/strong> scans the course structure, prerequisites, duration experience requirements and formulas, exercises, members, dynamic documents and competency links. It does not change anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Click Start Check Integrity<\/strong>. A progress bar shows the scan.<\/li>\n\n\n
    2. Read the summary (Integrity scan completed. n issue(s) found.<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n
    3. Filter by Normal<\/strong>, Warning<\/strong> and Important<\/strong>, or type in Search issues…<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n
    4. Use Copy Results<\/strong> or Export Results<\/strong> to keep a record.<\/li>\n\n\n
    5. Correct the course and click Run Again<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Typical findings: lessons without objective, standard, instructor guide or planned time; prerequisites pointing to inactive lessons; invalid duration formulas or formulas that cannot be reached with the durations planned by the previous lessons (see Duration experience requirement<\/a>); members who no longer have access; missing documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      A clean result does not replace testing and approval.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

      List active enrolled students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Opens the Courses Center list filtered on the course, in a new tab, so you can see who is affected before changing a live course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Task and Help tabs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Task<\/strong> lists the tasks related to course design (status, priority, creation, creator, subject, start, due date, person in charge). Use the toolbar to refresh, search, add or edit a task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Help<\/strong> reminds you of the course structure (course \u203a phases \u203a lessons) and describes the Lesson type<\/strong>, Items grades<\/strong> and Items type<\/strong> configured for your organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
