Choosing an appointment type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When the page opens, a window titled Choose an appointment type<\/strong> appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Item<\/th>What it does<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
Appointment type<\/strong> list<\/td>Lists every kind of appointment you may book. Select one.<\/td><\/tr>
Short description<\/td>Appears under the list once you select a type and explains what the appointment is for.<\/td><\/tr>
Continue<\/strong><\/td>Confirms your choice and opens the calendar.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

If only one type exists, it is selected for you and the window is skipped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After you choose, the page shows the type name, a longer explanation above the calendar, and the rules<\/strong> for that type (see the list below). To switch type later, click Change application type<\/strong> at the top of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rules for each appointment type<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Each type shows its own rules. Typical rules are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rule<\/th>What it means for you<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
Duration<\/td>Either every appointment lasts a fixed number of minutes, or you may book up to a maximum length.<\/td><\/tr>
Book in advance<\/td>You must book at least a number of days before the appointment.<\/td><\/tr>
Rescheduling limit<\/td>You may only move an appointment more than a number of days before it starts.<\/td><\/tr>
Maximum appointments<\/td>You may hold only a limited number of future, non-cancelled appointments of that type.<\/td><\/tr>
Allowed start times<\/td>Appointments can only start at certain minutes of the hour (for example :00 and :30).<\/td><\/tr>
Same-time limit<\/td>Only a limited number of people can book the same time.<\/td><\/tr>
Pending related request<\/td>Some types are unavailable while a related request is still open for you.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Reading the weekly calendar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The calendar shows one week at a time. Each column is a day, each row a time. The current day is highlighted. Days that the center is closed are marked Closed<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available<\/strong><\/td>You can start an appointment here. Click it.<\/td><\/tr>
Open, not a start time<\/strong><\/td>The center is open but an appointment cannot start at this exact time.<\/td><\/tr>
To Reschedule<\/strong><\/td>Times you can choose while moving an existing appointment.<\/td><\/tr>
Unavailable<\/strong><\/td>Not bookable (closed, outside the center’s hours or past).<\/td><\/tr>
Already scheduled<\/strong><\/td>Taken by someone else.<\/td><\/tr>
My Schedule<\/strong><\/td>Your own appointments.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Hover over a cell to see a short explanation (for example “Already scheduled” or “Past time”). If you click a cell that cannot be booked, a notice explains why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving between weeks<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Left arrow<\/td>Previous week (you can also press the left arrow key).<\/td><\/tr>
Calendar icon<\/td>Return to the current week.<\/td><\/tr>
Right arrow<\/td>Next week (or press the right arrow key).<\/td><\/tr>
Circular arrow<\/td>Refresh the calendar to see the latest availability.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You cannot go beyond the farthest booking date set by the center, and you cannot go back to weeks that are already over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What it looks like on a phone<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the mobile version the page shows the description of the type, the Booking rules<\/strong> panel, the week and a row of day buttons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
