The heatmap shows, week by week, how many SMS events include each occurrence category. Choose the period in Select date range<\/strong> and click Filter!<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Each row: the occurrence, its first and last activity dates, the total number of events and the highest weekly share.<\/li>\n\n\n
  • Light cells: fewer occurrences than typical; dark red cells: more occurrences than typical.<\/li>\n\n\n
  • Markers: Worsening<\/strong>, Improving<\/strong>, Abnormal<\/strong> (“this system was fine, now it suddenly isn’t”).<\/li>\n\n\n
  • Hover over a cell for the analysis of that week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The heatmap reflects reporting activity<\/strong>, not confirmed hazards or root causes: use it to prioritize reviews, never as a substitute for investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Link with the reports<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The same trend is shown in each report: next to the Occurrence Category<\/strong> and Sub Category<\/strong> of the Security SMS section, a colored badge (for example Risk: Worsening<\/strong>) gives the heatmap state of that category for the week of the activity. Clicking the badge opens the Risk Heatmap tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Practical example:<\/strong> the row Incursion \u2013 runway \u2013 aircraft<\/strong> shows two dark cells in a row with a Worsening<\/strong> marker.
