Everything starts in the Events<\/strong> tab: the folders on the far left, the search bar and the report list in the middle, and the selected report on the right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Folders (left panel)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click a folder to show its reports. A number in brackets shows how many reports in that folder need attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All events<\/strong><\/td>Every event report (hazards, squawks and QA findings have their own folders).<\/td><\/tr>
Not answered<\/strong><\/td>Event reports the member has not answered yet (no evaluation request).<\/td><\/tr>
Not corrected<\/strong><\/td>Event reports that are not closed by a correction yet. This is the default folder for managers.<\/td><\/tr>
Events corrected<\/strong><\/td>Event reports closed by a correction. With a date filter, the filter applies to the correction date.<\/td><\/tr>
Hazards<\/strong><\/td>Hazard reports. The number shows hazards not yet treated.<\/td><\/tr>
Regulatory<\/strong><\/td>Reports that have a regulatory reference (for example a reference to an authority’s occurrence report).<\/td><\/tr>
Squawks<\/strong><\/td>Technical defect reports linked to aircraft (shown when the feature is used).<\/td><\/tr>
QA ALL Events<\/strong><\/td>All QA findings and all events placed under QA monitoring.<\/td><\/tr>
QA Open events<\/strong><\/td>QA findings that are not closed yet (QA team only).<\/td><\/tr>
QA group folders (for example audit series)<\/td>QA findings of that group, plus events placed under monitoring for that group (QA team only).<\/td><\/tr>
Security SMS \u203a Active<\/strong><\/td>Events with an SMS assessment that is not closed. The number shows how many.<\/td><\/tr>
Security SMS \u203a Closed<\/strong><\/td>Events whose SMS assessment is closed. With a date filter, the filter applies to the SMS closed date.<\/td><\/tr>
Security SMS \u203a Not Closed<\/strong><\/td>Events with an SMS assessment and no closed date.<\/td><\/tr>
Security SMS \u203a Not assessed<\/strong><\/td>Events that have never been assessed in the Security SMS section.<\/td><\/tr>
Security SMS \u203a No root cause<\/strong><\/td>Events without a root cause.<\/td><\/tr>
Security SMS \u203a No one in charge<\/strong><\/td>Events without a person in charge of closing.<\/td><\/tr>
Event group<\/strong> folders<\/td>Reports of each event category defined by your organization (for example Flight operations or Maintenance).<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When to use it:<\/strong> start your day with Not corrected<\/strong>, Hazards<\/strong> and Security SMS \u203a Active<\/strong>; use Not assessed<\/strong> and No one in charge<\/strong> to find reports that were forgotten in the SMS process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Searching<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Type words in the Search\u2026<\/strong> field and press Enter (or click the binoculars). Several words find reports containing any of them. The search looks in the member names, the report text, the answer, the correction, the QA text and the references; SMS evaluators also search root causes and occurrence categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Filtering by date<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Click the calendar icon<\/strong> next to the search field, then the date box. Choose a ready-made range (Last 3 Months<\/strong>, This Year<\/strong>, Since 2024<\/strong>, All time<\/strong>\u2026) or two dates in the calendars, and click Filter<\/strong>. The calendar icon changes to show that a filter is active. Clear<\/strong> removes the date filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading the list<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Reports are grouped by age (Today<\/strong>, Yesterday<\/strong>, Less 1 week<\/strong>, Less 3 weeks<\/strong>, More 1 month<\/strong>). More reports load automatically when you scroll down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To link two reports, drag a line of the list onto the Drag here references to others reports<\/strong> box of the opened report (see Security SMS<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entries below the first separator appear only when the report is opened on the right. Entries that do not apply to the report are hidden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
