Deployment and e-mail notification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When a person in charge publishes (deploys) a memorandum, AirSupervision can immediately send an e-mail<\/strong> and an internal message<\/strong> to every active member who has one of the selected roles. The subject looks like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your organization<\/em> Memorandum<\/strong> \u2013 active date<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The e-mail tells you that a new memorandum has been published and when it becomes active. Even if you have chosen not to receive e-mails from AirSupervision, the internal message still reaches your message box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Good to know:<\/strong> the person in charge can decide not to send this alert. A memorandum can therefore appear in your Memos center without any e-mail. The lock described in the next article applies in all cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The active date: a memorandum can start later<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Every memorandum has an active from<\/strong> date. The notification is sent when the memorandum is published<\/strong>, but the memorandum itself can become active later<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situation<\/th>What happens<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
Active date is today<\/td>The memorandum is immediately in your Unread<\/strong> folder and must be acknowledged.<\/td><\/tr>
Active date is in the future<\/td>You receive the e-mail now, but the memorandum is not yet visible<\/strong> and does not lock your access. It appears in your Unread<\/strong> folder on its active date, and the lock starts that day.<\/td><\/tr>
An end date is set<\/td>After that date, the memorandum becomes inactive<\/strong> automatically. It no longer has to be acknowledged.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Example:<\/strong> on October 10, the Operations Manager publishes a memorandum about a runway closure that starts on October 20. You receive the e-mail on October 10. On October 20, the first time you open AirSupervision, the memorandum is waiting for you and you must acknowledge it before doing anything else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recurring memoranda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A memorandum can be set to repeat<\/strong> (for example every year). It then comes back on the next date, and concerned members must read and acknowledge it again.
