Opening the E-training tab<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open your own profile: click your name in the main menu.<\/li>\n\n\n
  2. Click the E-training<\/strong> tab.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The tab is visible on your own profile only. Senior administrators can also open it on other members’ profiles to check their results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The tab has two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Reading an e-training line<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    Element<\/th>Meaning<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
    Icon on the left<\/td>Type of e-training: presentation board for a Training<\/strong> or Training and Eval.<\/strong>, checked sheet for an Evaluation<\/strong>, clipboard for a Survey<\/strong>.<\/td><\/tr>
    Grey word before the title<\/td>The type written in full: Training, Evaluation, Training and Eval., Survey.<\/td><\/tr>
    Title and description<\/td>What the e-training is about.<\/td><\/tr>
    Score to pass<\/strong><\/td>Minimum score you need to pass the quiz.<\/td><\/tr>
    Clock Duration<\/strong><\/td>Maximum time allowed (hours:minutes).<\/td><\/tr>
    Red ribbon and a name<\/td>The competency<\/strong> that is added or renewed when you pass.<\/td><\/tr>
    Last line (for example “1st day of 13th month”)<\/td>How the expiry date of the competency is calculated when you pass.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

    Launching an e-training<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Click the line of the e-training. It opens in your browser window. E-trainings hosted online open in a new tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \n
    • Read the slides or answer the questions until the end of the e-training.<\/li>\n\n\n
    • Results are recorded when you reach the end. Don’t close the window before the results screen.<\/li>\n\n\n
    • If a maximum duration is set, finish within that time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Continuing a course later<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Some courses keep track of your progression. When you leave such a course before the end, it moves from the available list to the completed list with a blue play<\/strong> icon and the text “last slide: N”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Click that line (its tooltip says Resume<\/strong>) to restart at the slide where you stopped. While a course is in progress, it is not shown in the available list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Common questions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      Question<\/th>Answer<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
      An e-training my colleague sees is missing for me.<\/td>It is not open to your roles and you don’t hold the competency it renews. Ask the person in charge of trainings.<\/td><\/tr>
      My competency was not renewed.<\/td>You didn’t reach the score to pass, or you closed the window before the results were recorded. Launch the e-training again.<\/td><\/tr>
