It lets you build the timetable of a ground course for a whole group, such as a promotion of ATPL or PPL theory students, without immediately booking anything in the live scheduler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You work inside a <strong>project<\/strong>. A project belongs to one student group. Inside a project you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Drag lessons from the course syllabus onto a calendar grid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose a classroom or other resource and an instructor for each lesson.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check conflicts with rooms, instructors, students, and other groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Synchronize<\/strong> (publish) the lessons to the live scheduler when the plan is ready.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Until a lesson is synchronized, it exists only in the project. It does not reserve the room or the instructor, and members do not see it in their schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table class=\"has-fixed-layout\"><thead><tr><th>Term<\/th><th>Meaning<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Project<\/strong><\/td><td>A planning file for one student group, for example &#8220;ATPL Theory \u2013 Fall intake&#8221;.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Project schedule<\/strong> (not synced)<\/td><td>A lesson placed in the project but not yet published. You can move it freely.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Synced schedule<\/strong><\/td><td>A lesson published to the live scheduler. It now reserves the room and instructor and appears in everyone&#8217;s schedule.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Live scheduler<\/strong><\/td><td>The organization&#8217;s main scheduler (the full scheduler page).<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Resource<\/strong><\/td><td>A classroom, simulator, or other bookable item.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Additional participants<\/strong><\/td><td>Extra members or groups who attend the same lesson.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"who-can-use-it\">Who can use it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The page is available only to staff whose profile includes the <strong>Group Scheduler<\/strong> permission. Some options appear only with extra rights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Course analytics<\/strong> (in <em>Actions on Group<\/em>) needs statistics or responsible rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Scheduler<\/strong> (in <em>Actions on Group<\/em>) appears only when the flight records\/live scheduler module is enabled.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Printing attendance sheets may be limited to schedules within a set number of days, depending on your profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"page-layout\">Page layout<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The page title reads <strong>Group Scheduler Projects<\/strong>.
